Altered Mixed Media Bottle Art

Hello everyone!
This is Samiya from Ayimas. Hope you are doing great! Today I am so excited coming with my altered mixed media bottle Art.

I have made a altered mixed media bottle creation with some tissue, leftover acrylic colour, Jute twin, some fabric flowers, stamp, die cuts, small pearls and a special mini tag. That's it!

Tutorial link –https://youtu.be/iAdjsx8wTXE

Here are some closeup pictures of this project.

Detail process :

First of all i applied glue all over the bottle to attached tissue papers. This creates a dimension to the looks of the bottle. Before it get fully dry i used pink and yellow acrylic colour with a sponge. Stamping can give it a vintage look, i used some flower stamp with black ink pad . Decorated it with jute twin, fabric flowers and pearls. Don't forget to apply little bit of golden colour, it will give a warm tone!

Final out look of the project

That's all 😊

Sunflower - Good Day!

Hello everyone!
Samiya here from ayimas. Today I will  give you a quick pictorial of how i decorated my junk Journal page, using sunflower theme. It is a really easy project to do. Are you guys interested? Why not try making one then?

Today on the blog i will be creating this junk Journal page with a step by step walk through for you. Exciting? Lets get started. 🌼

Here is a close up  picture 🌼🌼

1. First i took a blank page from my notebook, which i will be working on. You can do it on your scrapbook cover, scrapbook layout, card, notebook pages or in a junk journal page.
You will be needed:

  • Base for the artwork,
  • Acrylic or watercolour
  • Brushes for colouring
  • Stencils
  • Gesso or texture paste & knife for application.
  • Black pen to outline and write

2. I have colored the base with yellow & Brown watercolour using a brush.

3. After that i used a masking tape to Secure the half mark of the base and drew a sunflower using acrylic medium of yellow, Brown, black colour.

4. For giving it a more natural look i added leaves with the flower using two shades of green acrylic colour.

5. In the corner, I used two different designs of stencil & used texture paste to add some dimension. When it dried I  colored it with brown acrylic paint.

6. Then I removed the masking tape and added my favourite quote beside the flower. Outlined where needed.  You can add your favourite quote too!

thats all!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope this has made you smile today ❤

Bullet Journal - Let's plan with me!

Hello everyone!
Samiya here from Ayimas. Plan with me for April 2020! Showing you guys my 2020 Bullet Journal setup! Hope you enjoy! 🌸

What is Bullet Journal —
The Bullet Journal is analog system created by Ryder Carroll, a Designer based in New York. In his words, the Bullet Journal is meant “to help you track the past, organize the present, and plan for the future.” It’s an amazing system that keeps a record of everything you could ever want to toss at it. It can be your task manager, sketchbook, art journal, idea catcher, and much more!

You can watch a short video how i decorated my Bullet Journal for the month of April.

The Bullet Journal is a organizational system in a notebook that keeps track of anything you would like to write down in an coherent way.
Millions of people consider this method the best way to plan, reflect, and meditate. And while some of us may reduce it to a journal full of confusing symbols and shorthand, it's actually a mindfulness practice in a productive way.

Whatever you call it — a planner, journal, or otherwise, bullet journaling helps you be more productive and reach your personal and professional goals. With sections to log your daily to-do’s, monthly calendar, notes, long-term wants and more, your BuJo(bullet journal) is customized to your life.

Starting a Journal —
To start a journal, you just need to be willing to write. You don’t have to write well, you just need to want to do it. You don’t even need to decide what to write, you just need to let your words flow. Once you’ve decided you want to create a journal, just go for it.

My Bullet Journal (April -2020) —
Today I want to give you a quick video clip on how i decorated my Bullet Journal cover & full setup. Using aparajita flower theme. It is really a easy project to do. Are you guys interested? Why not try making one then.

Stuff to watch —
